Medium Sized Apples
All Purpose Flour
Deep South Vanilla Bean Ice Cream to serve
Caramel sauce to serve
Preheat oven to 175 Celsius.
Halve the apples lengthwise and spoon out the core of each apple, leaving the bottom in tact.
Combine the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, nuts and coats. Add in the melted butter. Stir to combine.
Divide the filling between the apples. Place apples in a baking dish, and fill the baking dish with about an inch of water.
Cover the dish with foil and bake covered for 20 minutes. Then uncover and bake for another 25 Minutes (depending on the size of the apples this may need to increase.)
Remove from oven with top is golden and apples are tender. Serve immediately with Deep South Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and caramel Sauce
